[Remote] Regional Sales Manager Southeast

Kanthal, part of the Alleima Group, is a world-leading provider of products and services in industrial heating technology and resistance materials. They are seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast to develop and execute a regional sales business plan, manage territory expansion, and maintain strong customer relationships while driving business growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the regional sales business plan to achieve defined targets and growth objectives
- Own accountability for achieving short-term (18-month rolling) revenue, pricing, and business development goals
- Manage and expand the territory by identifying target accounts and engaging key technical decision-makers
- Drive business intelligence activities, including analysis of competitors, pricing strategies, market trends, and industry dynamics
- Lead, manage, and develop independent sales representatives to optimize territory performance
- Consistently follow up on leads and convert opportunities into active customers
- Maintain strong customer relationships while identifying new opportunities for growth
Skills
- Proven success in quota attainment and sales forecasting
- Strong financial and business acumen
- Relationship building and client management expertise
- Technical sales experience, preferably in OEM environments
- Contract negotiation and deal management skills
- Metrics-driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred) and standard business software
- Minimum of 6+ years of successful experience in a high-value sales or sales management role, preferably within the U.S. market
- Demonstrated ability to drive growth through strategic thinking and a proactive, 'hunter' mentality
- Strong decision-making skills, including the ability to operate effectively in uncertain or evolving environments
- Collaborative leadership style with a strong customer focus
- A valid driver's license is required
- A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering—or equivalent technical experience
- Experience in industrial heating, electrification, or semiconductor industries is a strong advantage
