[Remote] Data Science & Machine Learning Product Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Agile Resources, Inc. is seeking a Data Science and Machine Learning Product Manager to evolve a healthcare analytics product with advanced ML and AI capabilities. The role involves translating healthcare problems into a prioritized roadmap, guiding feature development, and ensuring successful implementation and adoption with customer teams.
Responsibilities
- Own the product lifecycle end-to-end, from discovery and concept through build, launch, implementation, adoption, and ongoing customer success
- Lead roadmap development and prioritization by balancing clinical value, financial impact, operational feasibility, and delivery capacity
- Translate healthcare customer needs into clear product requirements, user workflows, and measurable success metrics tied to business results
- Drive evaluation and delivery of ML/AI use cases such as risk prediction, prioritization, and intervention targeting, ensuring models are production-ready and monitored
- Partner with data science and engineering to define data needs, guide experimentation, validate performance, and improve models based on real-world outcomes
- Establish lightweight product and model development processes that improve execution speed, quality, and repeatability across releases
- Lead implementation planning with customer teams, remove adoption blockers, and ensure the product fits real operational workflows
- Monitor product performance and customer value realization, using insights to iterate features, improve usability, and inform future roadmap decisions
- Coordinate across clinical, operational, finance, and customer-facing stakeholders to align decisions, timelines, and delivery expectations
- Communicate status, tradeoffs, and outcomes with crisp documentation and executive-ready updates that support decision-making
Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on data science, machine learning, and AI product development experience
- 5+ years partnering with teams in health plans, health systems, or similar organizations to identify analytics opportunities, drive adoption, and iterate based on measured results
- 5+ years of experience working within a health plan, PBM, health system, pharmacy, and/or digital health organization
- Experience owning products end-to-end from concept through execution, implementation/adoption, and customer success
- Prior start-up experience with comfort operating in evolving products, processes, and ambiguity
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders across data science, data engineering, DevOps, clinical teams/pharmacists, finance, customer success, and product leadership
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including explaining technical concepts and model behavior to non-technical audiences
