[Remote] Business Development Representative

Trek Health is a healthcare technology company that provides innovative tools and insights to enhance commercial contract reimbursement. They are seeking an Outbound Business Development Representative to generate qualified meetings for the sales team by reaching out to healthcare organizations.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify prospective customers and key decision-makers
- Execute outbound outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads to understand needs, challenges, and fit
- Schedule meetings and product demos for Account Executives
- Conduct initial discovery of leads that are interested in speaking with the Sales team
- Maintain accurate activity and lead records in CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Collaborate with marketing and sales to refine messaging and targeting
- Consistently meet or exceed activity and pipeline goals
Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in sales, recruiting, healthcare or adjacent experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with outbound calling and rejection
- Highly organized with good time-management skills
- Coachable, curious, and has a growth mindset
- Adaptable and creative approach to fast changing environments
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
- Interest in healthcare, technology, and startup culture
- Previous BDR/SDR or inside sales experience
- Familiarity with CRM and prospecting tools (Sales Navigator, Salesforce, Outreach, Nooks etc.)
- Experience selling or working in healthcare or SaaS
