[Remote] Insurance Product Manager

They are seeking an Insurance Product Manager to lead product and pricing initiatives, ensuring competitive and customer-centered insurance products while collaborating across various teams to drive profitable growth.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the successful implementation of new product, pricing, and underwriting actions at a state and national level
- Maintain loss ratio discipline and risk tolerance while achieving profitable growth in assigned markets; ensure forecasts and business objectives account for current and likely market conditions
- Manage catastrophe risk and concentration risk effectively as the business pursues growth objectives
- Analyze key competitors and their strategies; share insights across the organization to develop effective market initiatives and build out competitive intelligence tools
- Regularly report on product performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize results; recommend KPIs and metrics to improve performance tracking
- Ensure all products meet customer needs and expectations; incorporate customer feedback into product development and improvement
- Partner cross-functionally with underwriting, marketing, sales, IT, and operations teams to deliver cohesive and effective product initiatives
- Ensure all products comply with relevant regulatory requirements and standards
- Identify and develop cross-functional process improvements that enhance both efficiency and effectiveness
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in product management, actuarial, finance, or related roles within the insurance industry; minimum 5+ years in homeowners insurance required
- Proven track record of successful product launches and strategic initiatives
- Deep understanding of personal lines insurance and reinsurance, including trends, regulations, and the competitive landscape
- Strong leadership and team management skills; ability to inspire and drive cross-functional teams toward common goals
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; proficiency using data to drive strategic decisions
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate complex issues clearly for partners and stakeholders
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation, continuous improvement, financial acumen, and regulatory knowledge
- Demonstrated customer focus and the ability to incorporate feedback into product strategy
