Position Summary
arenaflex is seeking dedicated, detail-oriented, and compassionate Remote Clinical Pharmacy Technicians to join our growing virtual Clinical Customer Care team. In this fully remote role, you will play a vital part in improving medication adherence and health outcomes for patients managing a range of chronic disease states, including Diabetes, Obesity, Respiratory Illnesses, Chronic Kidney Disease, and more.
Using a suite of proprietary software applications, you will conduct live, one-on-one outreach to patients, offering personalized therapy support and encouragement to help them better manage their conditions. Your work will directly contribute to improved patient outcomes, higher satisfaction rates, and stronger program success across the retail pharmacy landscape. Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Customer Care Pharmacy Technician at arenaflex, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Conduct outbound patient outreach: Proactively call patients who qualify for adherence-based programs, including those who have experienced prescription fill delays due to inventory shortages, patients who have become non-adherent, and individuals who may benefit from additional therapy guidance.
- Address and resolve patient concerns: Listen actively to patient questions, troubleshoot prescription or service issues, and provide timely, accurate resolutions that promote satisfaction and long-term program engagement.
- Identify and escalate clinical needs: Recognize when patient concerns require pharmacist intervention, particularly those involving medication adherence barriers, side effects, or other clinical challenges, and ensure warm handoffs for timely resolution.
- Process prescription requests: Use established arenaflex procedures and clinical guidelines to handle prescription refill requests in full compliance with HIPAA regulations, entering accurate refill orders for processing.
- Document interactions with precision: Utilize multiple computer systems, databases, and software platforms to record patient interactions, call outcomes, program enrollments, and progress updates with exceptional attention to detail.
- Maintain strict confidentiality: Uphold all patient privacy regulations and arenaflex data handling policies during every interaction and throughout all documentation processes.
- Collaborate across teams: Partner with cross-functional colleagues to identify opportunities for program improvement, propose innovative ideas, and contribute to the design and rollout of patient-centric enhancements.
- Communicate proactively: Keep team leads and supervisors informed through regular huddles, team meetings, cohort refreshers, and technology updates, ensuring alignment and operational excellence.
- Manage competing priorities: Successfully triage tasks, balance efficiency with accuracy, and thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment that requires both independent judgment and team-based collaboration.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this remote position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- State of residence: Must reside in Alaska, Florida, Idaho, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, or Washington due to regulatory and compliance considerations.
- Active licensure: Must hold an active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of residence.
- Florida licensure eligibility: Ability to obtain a Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician license through application and fee, including completion of a Florida Board-approved pharmacy technician training program.
- Relevant experience: At least one year of experience in retail healthcare, ideally in a high-volume call center or similar fast-paced patient support environment.
- Customer service background: A minimum of one consecutive year of customer service experience, with a demonstrated ability to deliver empathetic, professional support.
- Reliable remote setup: Ability to maintain a consistent, secure, and high-speed internet connection suitable for handling sensitive patient communications and operating multiple software platforms simultaneously.
- Internal candidates: Current arenaflex colleagues must be in good standing to be considered for this role.

Compensation and Benefits
arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package designed to attract and retain top talent. For this role, the typical pay range is $17.00 – $25.65 per hour, with the actual offer based on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
