GIS Solutions Architect

Remote role Full-time Open position

Job Description:

Support the design, modernization, and ongoing enhancement of enterprise geospatial capabilities within a federal environment.
Serve as the technical lead for geospatial architecture initiatives.
Support enterprise GIS strategy, system integration, cloud modernization efforts, and geospatial governance activities.
Design and implement enterprise geospatial solutions that support mission-critical operations, data-driven decision making, and enterprise-wide access to geospatial information.
Collaborate with technical, operational, and business stakeholders to develop innovative GIS capabilities aligned with cloud, cybersecurity, data management, and enterprise architecture objectives.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years of specialized experience supporting enterprise GIS, geospatial architecture, or geospatial solution design.
Experience designing and implementing ArcGIS Enterprise environments.
Experience supporting enterprise geospatial governance, data management, and system integration initiatives.
Experience architecting geospatial solutions within cloud or hybrid environments.
Experience supporting geospatial web services, dashboards, and enterprise GIS applications.
Knowledge of GIS data models, geospatial databases, and enterprise geospatial workflows.
Experience supporting cybersecurity, access control, and compliance requirements within enterprise systems.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work independently and support multiple priorities simultaneously.
