Job Description: Meade has a job opportunity for an entry-to-mid level Mechanical Engineer II with experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to be an integral member of our design team. The scope of projects will include data centers, industrial buildings, offices and other high-profile construction projects. This role will be highly collaborative amongst Meade staff, clients, vendors, and external disciplines. Travel to job sites may be required for site observations and client meetings. Job Duties: Independently drive projects forward throughout design and construction phases. Design mechanical and plumbing systems for data centers. Oversee the production of all mechanical designs, systems and drawings. Work amongst a cross-discipline design team, owners, and contractors to develop drawings and specifications. Coordinate with external vendors, internal design teams and manufacturers. Major equipment selection and scheduling. Minimum Qualifications: 2+ years of Professional Mechanical Engineering design experience, including hands-on CFD modeling and simulation to design and optimize mechanical systems for data centers or other mission critical projects. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Valid EIT Certification or Mechanical Professional Engineer (PE) license a plus. Experience working independently and managing priorities. Strong understanding of mechanical systems and energy codes. Ability to think strategically and demonstrate flexibility in order to achieve long-range objectives. Self-motivated, comfortable with ambiguity and motivated to work as a team. Top-notch organization, attention to detail combined with excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, Cadence, BIM and Revit. Compensation & Benefits: This position is available to candidates residing in the following states: AL, AZ, AR, FL, GA, IN, MI, MO, NV, OH, OK, SC, TX, UT, VA, WA, WV. Compensation and benefits are subject to eligibility requirements and may vary based on location and applicable laws. The pay range for this position will be provided in accordance with applicable state and local laws. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, geographic location, and business needs. The estimate pay ranges for this role are as follows: Virginia: $90,000-$110,000 Washington: $96,000-$115,000 Eligible employees may participate in Meade-sponsored benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, 401(k), paid time off, paid holidays, and other company-sponsored benefits.
