DevOps Engineer (Mexico City or Mexico Remote)

Connex is our Industry leading, multi-channel media optimization platform. You will work closely with our product development teams to understand their infrastructure needs and provide ideas and solutions to infrastructure challenges. FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The role will require familiarity with: • Cloud Computing infrastructure (AWS, Azure or GCP) • Logging, monitoring, and alerting infrastructure • Linux & Windows Server administration • Automation • CI/CD tools • IAC (Terraform or... Cloudformation) • SDLC best practices What we expect from you: • Work closely with the Engineering teams to improve operational efficiency and maintain software development environments • Triage infrastructure and application production issues and address them in a sustainable way • Automate, script and document work in an effort to be more efficient • Participate in on-call rotation EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE • Education/ Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent field experience. • Experience: 1-2 years of on-the-job cloud experience PREFERRED SKILLS • Agile methodology • Relational and nonrelational databases • Networking concepts: switches, routers, VLANs, firewalls, load-balancers • Security update and patch management • Schedulers (Jenkins / Teamcity) • Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud or similar • Apache, Nginx or similar • Microsoft SQL Server, Apache Cassandra or similar • SumoLogic, Splunk, New Relic, DataDog or similar • Chef, Puppet, Ansible(or similar • Docker, Kubernetes • TeamCity, Jenkins or similar • VPN, SSL, SFTP, SSH, RSA, PGP • PowerShell, bash or Python Apply Job!
