Contract Aerospace Lead Auditor

Remote role Full-time Open position

Your role DQS Inc. has an immediate opening for Aerospace Lead Auditors who have already achieved AEA or AIEA status. Positions are home based with extensive travel (no relocation needed). The successful candidate will have a successful work history, strong interpersonal and organizational skills with excellent written and oral communication capabilities. Ability to work in a virtual home-based environment. Knowledge of principles and methods for management systems audits. ISO-9001 and AS9100 auditing with 3rd party experience is a must- MUST already be in Oasis Database. Ability to self-manage and set priorities with demonstrated follow-through skills. Ability to develop an audit scope, audit plan and manage audit team activities. Ability to present the audit team conclusions to the customer and review customer resolution of any nonconformities. Must be able to assess customer needs and meet DQS Inc. service and customer satisfaction standards. Work independently and project a professional image appropriate to the work environment. Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including MS Office applications. Extensive travel. Your profile Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree and minimum of four years’ experience in quality systems management. Certification as an AS9100 Rev D Aerospace Experienced Lead Auditor (AA, AEA, AIEA) in the SAE OASIS database is a must. Passed an accredited 40-hour ISO 9001, or AS9100 lead auditor course.
