We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team on a 40-hour remote evening contract. As a Health Insurance Billing Resolution Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), resolving patient medical billing inquiries, collecting payments, and assisting with patient inquiries regarding their medically billed charges.   • *Responsibilities**

As a Customer Service Representative – Health Insurance Billing Resolution Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing EOBs to identify and resolve patient medical billing inquiries
  • Collecting payments and resolving billing discrepancies
  • Assisting patients with inquiries regarding their medically billed charges
  • Providing exceptional customer service to patients and clients
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Meeting daily quality and productivity quotas
  • Participating in online team meetings and company Q&A forums
  • Maintaining accurate time tracking and reporting
  • Reading and following up on EOBs and denials/appeals
  • Working in a remote, quiet environment with a friendly attitude
  • *Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

Minimum 1 year of experience

in customer service, medical billing, or a related field

Excellent communication skills

, both verbal and written

Attention to detail and accuracy

in resolving patient medical billing inquiries

Previous experience working with electronic medical systems

Ability to navigate multiple systems and software programs

High-speed internet

and a reliable computer (Windows-based, no Chromebooks)

Personal phone

for work purposes

Availability to work Monday to Friday during Hawaii Standard Time

Ability to complete mandatory on-boarding training

via online videos and live meetings

Friendliness and a positive attitude

in a customer-facing role

Experience in medical billing

and health insurance

Knowledge of EOBs and denials/appeals

Ability to navigate multiple desktops simultaneously
