[Remote] Clinical Account Manager, Payer and PBM

The Clinical Account Manager is responsible for developing and advancing the clinical value proposition across various healthcare stakeholders, resolving patient access challenges through clinical expertise and strategic engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with PBMs, health plans, employers, consultants, IDNs, and high-impact manufacturer market access teams to resolve complex patient access and reimbursement challenges using clinical expertise and payer strategy as well as maintaining long-term relationships with client-decision makers
  • Compiles, analyzes, and presents strategic payer data insights to manufacturer market access partners and co-develops market access strategies that strengthen long-term, high-value manufacturer relationships
  • Gathers and analyzes clinical, quality, and operational metrics to support decision-making, inform internal strategy, and provide payer-focused Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Develops and delivers PANTHERx’s clinical value narrative by synthesizing clinical data, outcomes, and real‑world evidence for strategic customer discussions
  • Leads the creation, maintenance, and strategic positioning of payer‑facing materials including documents for rate negotiations, rate justifications, expanded indications, and NDC changes in partnership with internal implementation and cross-functional internal teams
  • Prepares and delivers customized clinical value and outcomes presentations for business reviews, strategic planning meetings, and executive level discussions
  • Understands clients' clinical questions and brings information back to the organization to feed into the ongoing development of PANTHERx’s clinical value proposition
  • Collaborates with internal teams to understand specific problems with payer rare disease coverage
  • Conducts regular account reviews and develops strategic account plans aligned with clients' rare disease pharmacy needs
  • Remains updated on industry trends, clinical landscape for specific drug categories and market dynamics
  • Represents PANTHERx at national and regional industry events, conferences, and forums to elevate the company’s clinical expertise, strengthen partnerships, and showcase research and program outcomes when applicable

Skills

  • PharmD degree
  • Clinical residency or minimum five year's clinical experience
  • Working knowledge of pharmaceuticals and pharmacy supply chain
