[Remote] Onboarding Consultant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Bonterra is a company dedicated to enhancing the impact of nonprofit organizations through technology. They are seeking an Onboarding Consultant to lead the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring successful integration and adoption of their software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the onboarding process for new Bonterra Tech clients from kick-off to successful adoption
  • Conduct discovery sessions with clients to understand their specific business needs, workflows, and goals
  • Develop and deliver tailored onboarding plans, including configuration, data migration, and user training
  • Provide expert guidance and best practices to clients on utilizing Bonterra Tech's software effectively
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the onboarding phase, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Collaborate closely with sales, product, and support teams to ensure a coordinated and positive client experience
  • Create and maintain comprehensive onboarding documentation, training materials, and guides
  • Track and report on onboarding progress, client satisfaction, and key success metrics
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the onboarding workflow

Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in a client-facing role such as onboarding, implementation, or technical consulting, preferably within a SaaS environment
  • Demonstrated curiosity and experience leveraging generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to improve productivity, accelerate problem solving, and enhance customer outcomes
  • Strong understanding of software implementation methodologies and best practices
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on deadlines
  • Problem-solving attitude with a focus on client satisfaction
  • Proficiency with CRM software and project management tools (Salesforce and Monday.com)
  • Experience with data migration and system configuration is a plus
  • Experience with Bonterra products is a plus
