[Remote] Human Resources & Talent Acquisition Intern

Remote role Full-time Open position

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CASE Management Consulting is a federal consulting organization seeking a Human Resources & Talent Acquisition Intern. This role involves supporting the Human Capital team in areas such as recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and various special projects, providing hands-on experience in Human Resources and Business Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Source and identify qualified candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals, and recruiting platforms
  • Support proposal staffing efforts and candidate pipeline development for federal government opportunities
  • Review resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications and alignment with position requirements
  • Conduct preliminary phone and video interviews to assess candidate qualifications, communication skills, and overall fit
  • Document interview findings and provide candidate recommendations to hiring managers and leadership
  • Coordinate candidate communications, interview scheduling, and recruiting activities throughout the hiring process
  • Maintain applicant tracking records and support candidate pipeline management efforts
  • Assist with onboarding activities, including new hire documentation, orientation coordination, and personnel file management
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, employee recognition programs, and internal communications
  • Maintain recruiting, employee, and workforce data within company systems
  • Assist with workforce reporting, recruiting metrics, presentations, dashboards, and operational reporting
  • Help develop and update job descriptions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), forms, templates, and Human Resources documentation
  • Conduct research related to recruiting strategies, workforce planning, compensation trends, and human capital initiatives
  • Support compliance tracking, training record management, personnel documentation, and workforce readiness activities
  • Assist leadership with special projects related to Human Resources, Recruiting, Operations, and Business Administration
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Human Capital team and company leadership as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of organizational objectives

Skills

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Communications, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Comfortable conducting professional phone and video interviews with candidates
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Self-motivated, dependable, professional, and eager to learn
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
  • Prior internship, administrative, recruiting, customer service, Human Resources, or office support experience
  • Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, Operations, Organizational Development, or Business Administration
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems, SharePoint, ADP, Greenhouse, or similar technologies
  • Experience conducting interviews, screening candidates, or participating in hiring activities
  • Experience creating reports, presentations, process documentation, or workforce analytics
  • Familiarity with federal contracting, proposal staffing, workforce planning, or consulting environments is a plus
