[Remote] DevOps Engineer

They are seeking a DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in cloud-native platforms to join their global DevOps group and help shape the future of their next-generation SaaS platform.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across global R&D teams to manage and evolve a complex, Azure-based production environment powering a cutting-edge data security SaaS platform
  • Build and maintain scalable, resilient, and highly available cloud infrastructure using DevOps practices
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, Argo CD, and Azure DevOps
  • Work closely with R&D teams to design, implement, and support new product features across the platform
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging cloud-native technologies, open-source tools, and observability platforms to enhance system performance and developer productivity
  • Respond to incidents and internal requests, performing triage, root cause analysis, and implementing solutions to reduce recurrence and resolution time
  • Participate in a 24/7 On-Call rotation to proactively monitor and resolve production issues, ensuring platform stability

Skills

  • Cloud Platforms: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP for SaaS platforms in large scale production environments
  • Programming & Scripting: Strong coding skills in Python, Go, PowerShell, Bash or similar
  • Operating Systems: 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Windows or Linux environments, configuration, troubleshooting, and deployment
  • Infrastructure as Code: Deep, hands-on experience with Terraform, Pulumi, Packer, and Ansible for declarative infrastructure and configuration management
  • CI/CD & GitOps: Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or Flux
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Strong background in Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE), Docker, containerd, Helm, and Prometheus
  • Networking & Security: Solid understanding of core infrastructure protocols and components including DNS, TCP/IP, Load Balancing, PKI, Firewalls, and Routing
  • DevSecOps Awareness: Familiarity with integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
  • Collaboration & Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead cross-functional projects and communicate effectively in English
  • Azure Ecosystem: Familiarity with a wide range of Azure services, including: Virtual Machine Scale Sets, Microsoft Entra ID, Event Hubs, Service Bus, App Service, Azure SQL, Azure OpenAI, KQL, Aure Functions, Azure Bash, etc
  • Monitoring & Incident Management: Experience with tools like Grafana, Azure Monitor, PagerDuty, OpsGenie, Datadog, or New Relic
  • Programming Skills: Development experience in C#/.NET
