[Remote] Customer Success Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Gearflow is an AI-powered procurement platform designed for the construction industry, specifically targeting heavy civil contractors. They are seeking an experienced Customer Success Manager to onboard new customers, drive product adoption, and expand usage across accounts, ensuring that clients derive measurable value from their services.

Responsibilities

  • Onboarding & Implementation: Lead onboarding and implementation for new customers, ensuring a smooth transition onto Gearflow
  • Relationship Management: Build strong, long-term relationships with fleet teams and operational leaders at heavy civil and related contractors
  • Product Adoption: Help customers adopt Gearflow in their day-to-day workflows so it becomes part of how they operate
  • Customer Health: Conduct regular check-ins and success reviews to track adoption, surface risks, and identify opportunities to expand usage and improve outcomes
  • Value Realization: Ensure customers achieve clear, measurable results from Gearflow, tying usage back to business impact
  • Expansion Opportunities: Identify and nurture opportunities to grow accounts through increased usage, new teams, or new sites
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product and Sales to share customer feedback, influence roadmap priorities, and support new sales opportunities
  • Process & Reporting: Maintain accurate records in our systems and provide consistent updates on customer health, risks, and opportunities

Skills

  • A track record of building strong, trusted customer relationships
  • 3–5 years working in civil construction in a Fleet Operations role or experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or other customer-facing SaaS
  • Experience working in construction, fleet operations, industrial, or similar blue-collar industries is a plus
  • Startup experience is also a plus
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with strong time and priority management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable leading customer calls, training, and account reviews
  • Proficiency with CRM and customer success tools
  • Customer-first mindset and genuine enjoyment of helping customers win
  • High degree of self-accountability and follow-through
  • Thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth startup environment
  • Enjoys solving real-world problems for people in construction and fleet operations
