[Remote] Sr. Project Manager

They are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex software migration projects for enterprise customers, ensuring timely delivery and high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end software migration projects from project kickoff through go-live and post-implementation support
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, risk registers, and communication plans
- Coordinate software, data, and process migrations from legacy systems to new platforms
- Manage multiple concurrent projects while balancing priorities and customer expectations
- Track project progress and proactively address risks, issues, and dependencies
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the implementation and migration process
- Facilitate project kickoff meetings, status updates, executive reviews, and go-live planning sessions
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and ensure alignment on project goals and timelines
- Manage escalations and provide timely resolution to implementation challenges
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Support, Training, and Operations teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Coordinate internal resources and subject matter experts to support project milestones
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Identify project risks early and develop mitigation plans
- Monitor project health, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Escalate critical issues appropriately and drive resolution
- Ensure project scope changes are documented and managed effectively
- Contribute to the development and improvement of project management methodologies, templates, and best practices
- Create and maintain project documentation, implementation guides, and migration playbooks
- Identify opportunities to improve implementation efficiency and customer experience
Skills
- 5+ years of project management experience in software implementation, SaaS, or technology environments
- 3+ years of experience managing software migrations, platform transitions, or enterprise implementations
- Proven experience leading multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in customer-facing environments
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience creating project plans, timelines, status reports, and risk assessments
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, Monday.com, or similar platforms
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Experience with transit technology, transportation software, mobility platforms, or public sector implementations
- PMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum, or similar project management certification
- Experience with enterprise SaaS migrations and data integrations
- Background in customer onboarding, professional services, or implementation consulting
