[Remote] Director of Product Management

Remote role Full-time Open position

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ContinuumCloud offers cloud-based software solutions for the behavioral health and human services industry. They are seeking a Director of Product Management to lead product definition for their SaaS platform, focusing on creating precise requirements and building a strong PM team.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product requirements function — establish frameworks, templates, and review standards for business requirements documents (BRDs), product requirement documents (PRDs), and user stories that are designed from the ground up for AI-assisted and senior-developer execution
  • Write and review high-fidelity requirements — produce business requirements and user stories with the level of context, edge-case coverage, acceptance criteria, and constraint documentation needed to drive defect-free, first-pass implementation
  • Lead AI-assisted product workflows — leverage LLMs and AI-powered PM tools to accelerate requirement drafting, story decomposition, acceptance criteria generation, and gap analysis. Continuously refine prompting strategies and tooling to improve output quality
  • Bridge business and engineering — translate customer needs, market opportunities, and business goals into structured, technically grounded specifications that engineering teams can execute against confidently
  • Drive roadmap strategy — own the product roadmap for your portfolio, prioritize with rigor, and communicate clearly to executive stakeholders, customers, and go-to-market teams
  • Partner with Engineering and QA — work closely with senior developers, AI coding agents, and the QA function to close feedback loops, refine requirement quality over time, and reduce the cost of defects at the source
  • Build and develop a PM team — hire, coach, and elevate product managers who share your discipline around specification quality and your fluency with AI-assisted workflows
  • Champion the voice of the customer — maintain a deep, continuous understanding of customer problems through discovery, research, and data, and translate those insights into clear product direction

Skills

  • 7+ years in product management, with at least 3+ years in a director or senior PM leadership role within a SaaS organization
  • Demonstrable, hands-on experience using AI to produce business requirements and user stories — you should be able to show artifacts you've created, describe the prompting and review workflows you've built, and speak to measurable outcomes (e.g., reduction in defect rates, story rework, or sprint carryover attributable to requirement quality)
  • Deep familiarity with user story best practices — INVEST principles, behavior-driven development (BDD/Gherkin), acceptance criteria frameworks (Given/When/Then), and story decomposition at scale
  • Proven ability to write requirements for consumption by both senior human developers and AI coding agents — understanding the different needs of each and how specification quality affects each
  • Experience leading product in a cloud-based SaaS environment — multi-tenant architecture considerations, API-first product thinking, subscription and usage models
  • Strong data fluency — comfortable defining analytics requirements, working with product analytics platforms, and using data to validate and iterate on product decisions
  • Experience with AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Devin, Claude or similar) from the product side — understanding of how these tools consume specifications and what makes a story actionable versus ambiguous to an AI agent
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering as applied to product work — structuring prompts to generate high-quality BRDs, story sets, edge-case inventories, and acceptance criteria
  • Background in BDD and TDD tooling and story lifecycle management (Jira, Linear, Productboard, or similar) with an eye toward AI-augmented workflow integration
  • Experience with discovery frameworks (Jobs-to-be-Done, Continuous Discovery, opportunity solution trees) and the ability to trace a requirement cleanly from customer insight to story to acceptance criteria
  • Prior ownership of a SaaS product through full lifecycle — conception through GA, iteration, and deprecation
  • Experience working in or alongside platform engineering teams where API contracts and integration requirements demand exceptional specification precision

Benefits

  • Multiple medical insurance options
  • 401k plan with company match
  • Company-funded Life, AD&D, and Disability Insurances
  • Company-sponsored training and certification programs
  • Open PTO program
  • Company holidays include New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and 2 Floating Holidays
