[Remote] Sales Engineer / Solution Architect – Critical Power Infrastructure

Hyper Solutions is building next-generation modular infrastructure solutions that power rapidly expanding data center and high-performance computing environments. The Solution Architect – Integrated Modular Solutions serves as the technical design authority for mission-critical modular infrastructure solutions, leading architectural design and system configuration while ensuring technical integrity throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural development and system configuration for Integrated Modular Solutions, including structural, mechanical, and electrical integration
  • Own pre-sale technical solution design, including one-line diagrams, system layouts, equipment selection, and configuration strategy
  • Serve as the primary technical interface with customers during solution development and architectural discussions
  • Evaluate customer requirements and develop architectures aligned with Tier I–IV data center standards and mission-critical power requirements
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, UL standards, and industry regulations
  • Drive cross-functional alignment between Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Sales to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability
  • Provide technical oversight through design reviews, submittal development, and manufacturing release activities
  • Lead technical portions of RFI/RFP responses and customer presentations
  • Support development and refinement of standardized IMS configurations and scalable architectural frameworks
  • Participate in factory acceptance testing (FAT) oversight and field issue resolution when required
  • Provide technical mentorship and knowledge sharing across Engineering and Sales teams
  • Contribute to long-term architectural roadmap planning for IMS product platforms
  • Support configuration tool development and architectural standardization initiatives
  • Assist in improving technical documentation, processes, and system design consistency
  • Reviewing customer specifications and translating requirements into technical solution architectures
  • Developing one-line diagrams, layouts, and integrated system configurations
  • Collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and scalable
  • Participating in customer meetings and technical design reviews
  • Supporting proposal development, submittals, and technical presentations
  • Providing technical guidance during manufacturing and deployment activities

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in data center infrastructure, critical power systems, modular infrastructure, or application engineering
  • Strong understanding of low-voltage power distribution systems including switchboards, PDUs, RPPs, STSs, transformers, and associated controls
  • Experience developing one-line diagrams, power system architectures, and equipment configurations
  • Experience reviewing RFQ/RFI/RFP documentation and customer technical specifications
  • Working knowledge of MEP integration within modular or prefabricated environments
  • Strong technical leadership and customer-facing communication skills
  • Experience supporting Tier I–IV data center power system architectures
  • Experience with prefabricated or modular infrastructure solutions
  • Experience leading technical design reviews or customer solution discussions
  • Familiarity with UL certification processes and compliance documentation
  • Experience contributing to product standardization or configuration tool development
  • Experience with 3D modeling or rendering tools such as SketchUp or Revit
