[Remote] Junior Data Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Helic & Co. is seeking a detail-oriented and curious Junior Data Analyst to join their team. In this role, you will support data collection, analysis, and reporting efforts to help drive informed business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources
- Perform basic data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Assist in creating dashboards and reports using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
- Write and maintain SQL queries to extract and manipulate data
- Support senior analysts with ad hoc analysis and reporting requests
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across databases and reports
- Document processes, data definitions, and analysis methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 0–2 years of experience in data analysis or a related role (internships count)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts)
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills to present findings clearly
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R
- Understanding of data modeling and database concepts
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipelines
- Knowledge of basic statistics and data interpretation techniques
