The role involves working closely with experienced leaders in litigation, gaining hands-on experience in litigation strategy and client interaction.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with and receive direct mentorship from nationally recognized leaders in commercial litigation, real estate litigation, CMBS litigation and transactional work, and financial services litigation
- Gain hands-on experience in litigation strategy, client interaction, sophisticated motion practice, as well as transactional work in the real estate arena
- Handle appearances at hearings, depositions, and trials
Skills
- 3+ years of experience in Financial Services Litigation, Real Estate Litigation, and general Commercial Litigation
- Strong academic background
- Proven research skills
- Exceptional litigation abilities
- Strong writing skills
- Persuasive speaking abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Litigation experience
- Experience handling appearances at hearings, depositions, and trials
- Michigan-based candidates
- Some real estate transactional experience
