[Remote] Junior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights
• Support the development and validation of predictive models and machine learning algorithms
• Visualize data using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Matplotlib/Seaborn
• Assist in designing and implementing data pipelines and workflows
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions
• Document code, processes, and findings clearly and accurately
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in data science and analytics

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling
• Familiarity with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and basic machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow)
• Basic understanding of statistics, probability, and data modeling concepts
• Experience with SQL and working with databases
• Good communication skills and the ability to explain complex findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Fresh graduates with strong technical skills and relevant project experience are encouraged to apply
