About the Role

The Senior Financial Systems & Automation Analyst will play a critical role in modernizing finance operations through automation, data analytics, and reporting solutions. This position combines accounting expertise with advanced technical capabilities in Power Automate, Power BI, and ERP systems to streamline financial processes, enhance reporting, and deliver actionable business insights. The role offers significant visibility across finance leadership and technology teams while supporting key accounting and business initiatives. Job Functions

Key Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and maintain Power Automate workflows to improve finance and accounting processes.
• Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, and financial data models to support business decision-making.
• Extract, analyze, and validate financial and operational data from ERP systems.
• Support accounting functions related to revenue recognition, contract accounting, billing, and trade spend analysis.
• Collaborate with finance leadership and technical teams to identify automation opportunities and reporting enhancements.
• Translate business requirements into scalable reporting, workflow automation, and analytical solutions.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Create documentation, process maps, and user guides for automation and reporting solutions.
• Support ongoing finance transformation initiatives and continuous process improvement efforts.
• Deliver actionable insights through data analysis and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 3–7+ years of experience in accounting, finance systems, business intelligence, or automation-focused roles.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate and Power BI.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both finance and technology stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting processes.
• Experience building dashboards, financial reports, and data models.
• Knowledge of ERP data structures and financial systems integration.
