Why This Role Matters

In today’s fast‑moving financial landscape, the ability to transform raw data into actionable risk insights is a competitive advantage. As a Remote Data Entry & Risk Management Analyst on our Growth Strategy team, you will be at the heart of this transformation. You will partner with technology, analytics, and business stakeholders to design, implement, and refine risk‑management processes that protect our customers, drive strategic growth, and uphold the highest standards of compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, cleanse, and enter structured and unstructured data from a variety of internal and external sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze data using statistical, financial, AI, and business‑analytics techniques to uncover risk patterns, trends, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including technology, product, compliance, and operations—to design and execute risk‑management frameworks and business processes.
  • Identify and evaluate new data sources (both managed and unmanaged) that can enhance product and service risk assessments.
  • Apply industry‑standard best practices and internal guidelines to continuously improve risk‑management methodologies and systems.
  • Develop clear, concise reports and visualizations for both technical and non‑technical audiences, translating complex analyses into actionable recommendations.
  • Support the creation and rollout of business‑process‑improvement initiatives that increase operational efficiency and reduce risk exposure.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives, to ensure timely delivery of risk‑related projects.
  • Maintain documentation of data pipelines, analytical models, and risk‑management procedures to support auditability and knowledge sharing.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 1 year of hands‑on experience in risk management, data analysis, or business‑process improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret complex analyses for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Experience working with cross‑functional teams that include technical, business, and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data‑analysis tools and languages such as Python, R, SAS, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with data‑engineering platforms (e.g., Databricks) and operating systems (e.g., Unix).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and impact.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI for financial and data reporting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards relevant to the financial services industry.
  • Exposure to machine‑learning techniques for risk scoring and anomaly detection.
  • Project‑management experience, especially in Agile or Scrum environments.
  • Certification in risk management (e.g., FRM, PRM) or data analytics (e.g., CDMP).
  • Demonstrated track record of driving process‑improvement initiatives that resulted in measurable efficiency gains.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Problem Solving: Proactive approach to tackling ambiguous challenges and delivering practical solutions.
  • Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills, with a talent for building relationships across diverse functional groups.
  • Communication: Clear articulation of technical concepts to business leaders and non‑technical partners.
