About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Remote Human Resources Manager to lead their HR operations on a fully remote basis. This senior role is crucial for developing and executing strategic HR initiatives that support the company's growth and its distributed workforce. You will be instrumental in refining HR policies, optimizing HR processes, and ensuring a consistent and positive employee experience across the organization, regardless of location. Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all aspects of the human resources function for a remote workforce. Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and promote best practices. Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, talent development, performance management, and offboarding. Design and execute comprehensive compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and fairness. Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a strong, inclusive company culture in a remote setting. Manage HRIS systems and leverage data analytics to provide insights and drive strategic decision-making. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations across various jurisdictions. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on all HR-related matters. Develop and manage the HR budget and vendor relationships. Lead and mentor a remote HR team, fostering collaboration and high performance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role. Demonstrated experience managing HR operations for a remote or distributed workforce. In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, compensation, benefits, and talent management. Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business needs into HR solutions. Exceptional communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills, adapted for remote interactions. Proficiency with HRIS platforms and HR analytics tools. Proven ability to lead and develop a team. SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification is highly desirable.
