About the role: Aurizon is seeking a capable and motivated Training Advisor to support the delivery and continuous improvement of our Training Governance Framework. In this role, you will provide guidance and practical support to ensure our learning systems, frameworks and training programs align with regulatory requirements, operational risk profiles, and our licence to operate. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure training outcomes are safe, compliant and fit-for-purpose. This role will see you: Support the implementation of learning systems, frameworks and governance aligned to legislative, regulatory and operational requirements Assist with the delivery of technical and safety training programs, including compliance and assurance activities Contribute to training and safety initiatives, including forecasting, planning and stakeholder engagement Collaborate with stakeholders to support strategic objectives and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain compliance with internal and external Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and Enterprise Training Standards Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders About you: You are a collaborative and detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a structured, compliance-driven environment. You bring a strong understanding of training frameworks and a willingness to learn, contribute and improve how training is delivered across the business. Experience supporting or applying learning and development systems and processes (preferred) Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent) (preferred) 1–2 years’ experience in a related role (preferred) Exposure to relevant systems and training platforms (preferred) Understanding of the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) Knowledge of vocational training, assessment principles and organisational development Awareness of relevant legislation, standards and compliance requirements Ability to design, develop and support learning solutions Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability Effective time management and organisation skills Understanding of adult learning principles and continuous improvement practices What we offer you: At Aurizon, we support the development and growth of our employees.
