Nonprofit Consulting Intern

Our services include fundraising, strategic planning, program development, impact evaluation, and recruitment, helping nonprofits achieve their goals effectively. Role Description This is a part-time, remote internship role for college credit, if applicable. Graduate students preferred. The intern will support project management, assist with research and analysis, and contribute to creating client deliverables, through:

  • Supporting our team of consultants with research and administrative tasks
  • Joining weekly calls with clients and prepare meeting summary documents
  • Researching prospective donors, sponsors, and partners for clients’ fundraising pipelines to support our consultant teams
  • Performing in-depth research on potential donors for clients, analyze and make recommendations to consultant teams

Qualifications

  • A current graduate student or recent graduate with a background and/or interest in consulting, social impact, philanthropy, fundraising, and/or non-profit work.
  • Demonstrated skills in research, data analysis, and compiling information into actionable insights
  • Proficiency in writing, editing, and creating professional reports
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Familiarity with nonprofit operations, such as fundraising, strategic planning, or program development, is a plus
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and other digital tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a remote environment
  • Previous experience in consulting or the nonprofit sector is an advantage

  • A Social Impact Advocate: You have an interest in learning how non-profits garner support and sustain themselves and businesses can become more socially responsible. You are driven to find ways to make our world a better place.
  • An Eager Problem-solver: Surviving in the non-profit industry is an art, not a science. Whether it’s gathering data, rewriting a proposal, or researching industry trends, you are adamant about exploring all options for moving a client forward.
  • A True Team player: You can work efficiently, digitally and collaboratively in a remote setting with fellow colleagues to manufacture top-notch work. You are communicative, ensuring that all team members are informed of your progress and any challenges that may arise.
