Staff Accountant

Job Title: Staff Accountant Looking to hire a full-time experienced Staff Accountant for an Outsourced Accounting Firm. Accounting degree required. This is mainly a remote/virtual position based in Leesburg, VA and would prefer an individual local to the DMV area. The candidate must be located within the Eastern Time Zone. 30-40 hours of work required per week. The ideal candidate will be well... organized and experienced with all aspects of the accounting process including financial statement preparation and analysis. Strong communication skills are necessary to communicate effectively with staff and clients. QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online experience required. Tax accounting experience preferred. Strong computer skills preferred. This individual will be responsible for overseeing various accounts with various financial tasks including, but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial statement preparation and processing payroll.

Responsibilities

Track expenses, budget, cash flow projections, receipts, and other financial dealings of our clients Provide consistent financial reports Monitor accounts payable and receivable Ensure timely processing of payroll with payroll partners Analyze financial information and summarize financial status

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and QuickBooks Desktop and Online Strong organizational and analytical skills, detail oriented and self-motivated Excellent written and verbal communication skills Willing to learn and grow into your position Able to maintain confidential information.
