About The Position Atlas Insurance Group LLC is seeking a motivated, professional, and detail-oriented Full-Time Insurance Agent to join our growing team in Texas. This position is ideal for someone interested in building a long-term career in the insurance industry and who is eager to learn, grow, and provide outstanding service to clients. Work arrangement may vary depending on the candidate’s experience, insurance knowledge, licensing status, training needs, reliability, and overall qualifications. Some candidates may be required to work fully in person at our Houston office, especially during the initial training period. Hybrid or remote work may be considered for experienced and qualified candidates based on performance, ability to work independently, and company needs.

Responsibilities

The Insurance Agent will assist with all regular duties related to insurance sales, service, and agency operations, including:

  • Communicate professionally with clients by phone, email, and in person.
  • Provide insurance quotes, explain coverage options, and answer client questions clearly.
  • Assist clients with new policies, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and billing questions.
  • Review client needs and recommend appropriate insurance coverage and solutions.
  • Make outbound calls to potential clients, leads, and business contacts to generate new opportunities.
  • Follow up with prospects, existing clients, carriers, mortgage companies, and other related parties in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional insurance products to current clients.
  • Maintain accurate client records, notes, documentation, call logs, follow-ups, policy changes, and sales opportunities.
  • Learn and follow company procedures, carrier guidelines, insurance products, and agency workflows.
  • Support daily agency operations, customer service needs, client retention, agency growth, and long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable using computers, web-based applications, and standard business software
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
  • Ability to analyze information, follow instructions, and solve problems effectively
  • Professional attitude and willingness to learn
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Bilingual English/Farsi is a strong plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous insurance experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
  • Insurance license is a plus, or willingness to obtain licensing

Compensation

Compensation starts at a minimum of $45,000 annually, with strong potential growth up to $150,000+ based on experience, performance, sales ability, and long-term contribution to the agency.
