Job Description

This position is for a full-time Reading Interventionist Teacher working primarily with high school students. Our school continues to grow, and we are looking for teachers who are excited about online learning and would like to join our team. Qualifications iForward Wisconsin's Online Charter Schools is seeking an innovative and creative teacher to serve our students. We are in our 19th year of providing the best online education possible for Wisconsin's youth. Applicants should have the appropriate Wisconsin Certification for Reading Interventionist or be able to obtain it. Candidates should be positive and team-oriented. Applicants must be able to build dynamic relationships with students to foster an atmosphere of learning and mutual respect. Strong references for this position are essential. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in mathematical interventions.

Requirements

Teachers working for iForward work from home. Teachers work in robust online classrooms between 8:00 and 4:00, and student attendance for live lessons is required. We follow a traditional school schedule and operate much like a traditional school; we just do so in the online digital environment. Applicants must be prepared to address all aspects of students' personal, social, and academic needs. Applicants should possess the skills to communicate effectively with parents to build educational partnerships.
