Payroll Analyst- Hybrid Work Schedule!

Vaco Phoenix is looking for an experienced Payroll Analyst for a top client in Tempe AZ! This Payroll Analyst must have UKG experience as well as complex payroll processing for over 2000 employees. This is a contract to hire position, offering a hybrid work schedule and paying up to $70k per year. Responsibilities: Process payroll accurately and on schedule, including handling adjustments and manual payments when needed. Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies while responding to employee and management inquiries. Review payroll data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation. Assist with audits and maintain organized payroll records and reports. Job Requirements: 5+ years in accounting and 3+ years' experience in a payroll and compensation and benefits role with a solid understanding of payroll principles, regulations, and best practices. Experience working within HRIS and payroll systems, preferably UKG and advanced knowledge of MS Excel. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
