Responsibilities / What You’ll Do Prepare & Review Returns: Handle individual and business tax returns with accuracy and confidence. Advise Clients: Identify tax-saving opportunities, recommend proactive strategies, and communicate with clients clearly and consistently. Lead & Mentor: Support and guide junior tax accountants, conduct peer reviews, and share feedback to strengthen team performance. Peak Season Performance: Reviewing 25-30 returns per week during peak season and 15 in off season (depending on position level) while maintaining quality and efficiency. Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with fellow senior accountants to ensure consistent, high-quality results and efficient processes. Stay Current: Keep up to date with tax law changes and compliance requirements to deliver the best possible outcomes for clients. Grow with Us: Participate in ongoing training and contribute ideas that improve our tax systems and client experience. Qualifications / Who are we looking for CPA license or EA certification preferred; 4+ years in tax or public accounting. Experience preparing, reviewing, and filing tax returns. Proficient in tax software (CCH) and accounting systems; strong compliance knowledge. Skilled in peer review, mentoring, and supporting team members. Excellent communication and client advisory skills. A team player who appreciates a lighthearted culture (dad jokes welcome).
