About the client: Our client, a U.S.-based personal injury law firm, is seeking a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join its team. This role is instrumental in supporting the firm’s litigation department by overseeing case management, ensuring smooth legal operations, and maintaining compliance with court procedures. About the role: As a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal, you will play a critical role in managing the logistics and administrative aspects of personal injury litigation cases. You will collaborate closely with attorneys, clients, and support staff to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. The ideal candidate will be fluent in written and oral English and fluent in spoken Spanish, with professional expertise in legal research, proficiency in preparing legal documents, and a strong understanding of U.S. personal injury litigation procedures. U.S.-based law firm experience is strongly preferred. Personal injury litigation experience is a plus. What you’ll be doing: Coordinate and manage litigation calendars, deadlines, and court filings. Organize and maintain case files, documents, and evidence in compliance with firm policies. Assist in drafting and preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. Facilitate communication and coordination between attorneys, clients, and external parties. Conduct legal research on case laws, statutes, and regulations relevant to ongoing litigation matters. Monitor case timelines and ensure timely completion of legal tasks. Assist in trial preparation and provide support during hearings and trials. Implement and improve operational processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness in litigation support. Who are we looking for? Proven experience as a paralegal or similar role within a law firm in New York. Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in legal research, document management, and case management software. Knowledge of litigation procedures, legal terminology, and court rules in New York. Spanish and English Fluency Experience working in a US law firm is a plus.
