Stibo STEP Developer (PIM / MDM) W2 only
Job Title Stibo STEP Developer (PIM / MDM) Role Summary The Stibo STEP Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and supporting the Stibo STEP PIM/MDM platform. This role focuses on data modeling, business rules, workflows, integrations, and customization, working closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver scalable product and master data solutions. Key ResponsibilitiesStibo STEP Development & Configuration
- Develop and configure:
- Product, item, and classification hierarchies
- Attributes, attribute groups, and inheritance rules
- Implement business rules using:
- JavaScript
- STEP business rule framework
- Configure validation rules, completeness checks, and constraints
Data Modeling & Governance
- Design and maintain:
- Product and master data models
- Reference data and taxonomies
- Support data governance standards and stewardship workflows
- Manage versioning, approval states, and audit tracking
Workflow & Process Automation
- Design and implement:
- STEP workflows (approval, enrichment, publishing)
- User roles and access permissions
- Automate data lifecycle processes across teams
Integrations & Interfaces
- Develop and support integrations with:
- ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- eCommerce platforms
- Downstream systems (feeds, marketplaces, DAM)
- Work with:
- STEP REST APIs
- Import/export frameworks
- XML, JSON, CSV data formats
Customization & Extensions
- Develop custom extensions using:
- Java
- JavaScript
- Customize UI components and business logic
- Optimize system performance and scalability
Testing & Deployment
- Support unit testing, system testing, and UAT
- Assist with deployment across environments
- Troubleshoot defects and performance issues
Support & Maintenance
- Provide L2/L3 support for STEP platform
- Resolve data, workflow, and integration issues
- Participate in production support and enhancements
Required Skills & QualificationsMust Have
- 5+ years of experience in PIM / MDM development
- Strong hands-on experience with Stibo STEP
- Proficiency in:
- Java
- JavaScript
- STEP Business Rules
- Strong understanding of:
- Data modeling
- Product hierarchies
- Master data governance
- Experience with REST APIs and integrations
Good to Have
- Experience with other PIM tools (Salsify, Akeneo, Informatica)
- Knowledge of DAM systems
- Experience with SAP MDG or MDM solutions
- SQL and database fundamentals
Nice to Have (Added Advantage)
- DevOps / CI-CD experience
- Performance tuning and optimization
- Agile / Scrum delivery experience
- Cloud deployment exposure
