A specialized opportunity is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter with experience in telehealth services within an educational setting. This role involves providing interpreting support to ensure effective communication between educators, students, and families through virtual platforms. The position is a 1099 contract, offering flexibility and the chance to contribute expertise in a meaningful educational environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate clear and accurate sign language interpretation for remote educational sessions.
• Support communication for students with hearing impairments, ensuring equal access to curriculum content and school activities.
• Collaborate with educators and telehealth providers to adapt interpreting techniques for virtual environments.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all relevant privacy regulations.
• Document and report interpreting sessions as required for program records.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with certification or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience interpreting in educational or telehealth settings is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of telehealth technologies and virtual communication platforms.
