As a Data Analyst & Online Chat Assistant, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's passionate about using data to tell stories and drive business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain comprehensive data analysis and reporting capabilities to support business procedures and data-driven decision making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, preserve complete records, and obtain business sign-offs for all reporting requirements
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and data architecture to meet departmental demands
- Utilize data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI
- Help automate existing business processes and enhance exception-based reporting
- Partner with IT and business stakeholders to discover, analyze, and implement new data variables (data mining)
- Evaluate large datasets to identify relevant patterns and provide actionable insights
- Validate data for accuracy and completeness by verifying against requirements
- Research and remediate data errors
- Participate in the Data Governance program by updating the data dictionary and plan & methods
- Examine and validate metrics to ensure effectiveness and provide recommendations to team leaders on areas that require attention
Essential Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience in comprehensive data analysis and reporting
- Strong experience working with Power BI, including designing and implementing dashboards and reports
- Knowledge of DAX, SQL, and M Code
- Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex SQL queries to create files and analytics
- Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations
- Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other procedures
- Problem-solving skills with statistical analysis and large data sets
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query
- Familiarity with Smartsheets
- Strong effort in the progression and timely completion of projects and deadlines
