Payroll Specialist, US Payroll & Tax Compliance

Remote role Full-time Open position

Job Description:

Process and manage end-to-end payroll for U.S.-based employees
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
Perform payroll tax calculations, filings, and reporting in accordance with U.S. requirements
Maintain accurate payroll records and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
Communicate with internal teams regarding payroll matters, updates, and issue resolution
Prepare and review payroll reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
Assist with payroll audits and support documentation requests related to payroll processes
Perform other tasks related to the position

Requirements:

Proficient level of English (written and spoken)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Minimum 4 years of experience processing U.S. payroll
Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll taxes, regulations, and compliance requirements
Experience handling multi-state payroll processes
Proficiency with payroll systems, payroll processing tools, and reporting platforms used in the United States
Experience with U.S. payroll tax filing systems
Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle sensitive financial information accurately and confidentially
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage payroll-related issues effectively
Experience working with U.S.-based clients is strongly preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
