Director / VP, Media & Strategic Partnerships (New York)

Overview

A rapidly growing global digital media and creator-focused company is seeking a senior commercial leader to drive strategic media partnerships, branded content monetization, and emerging distribution initiatives across the US market. This role will focus on developing scalable advertising and media solutions across premium digital ecosystems while building long-term relationships with agencies, brands, and strategic platform partners. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in digital media sales, strategic partnerships, creator-led media, and/or connected TV ecosystems, along with established relationships across the New York advertising market. Please note: This role is only open to US Citizen's or those with a valid working visa for the United States.

Key Responsibilities

Media & Commercial Partnerships

  • Develop strategic partnerships with agencies, advertisers, and media buying teams
  • Drive revenue growth through scalable media and branded content solutions
  • Build commercial frameworks for premium digital inventory and sponsorship opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create packaged media offerings across multiple audience categories

Branded Content & Monetization

  • Support development of integrated branded content opportunities
  • Work cross-functionally with creative, partnerships, and strategy teams to deliver advertiser solutions
  • Build repeatable campaign structures and long-term client partnerships
  • Help standardize pricing, performance expectations, and commercial deliverables

Distribution & Platform Partnerships

  • Identify and develop opportunities across emerging digital distribution channels
  • Support strategic relationships with streaming, platform, and media ecosystem partners
  • Explore monetization opportunities across premium video and connected media environments

Agency & Client Development

  • Build and manage senior-level relationships across agencies, brands, and media organizations
  • Engage directly with investment teams, partnership leads, and marketing decision-makers
  • Drive long-term commercial partnerships and recurring revenue opportunities

Product & Revenue Strategy

  • Contribute to development of scalable media products and commercial offerings
  • Partner with data and strategy teams to enhance audience positioning and advertiser value
  • Support campaign reporting, measurement, and monetization optimization initiatives

Requirements

Experience

  • 10+ years in digital media, partnerships, advertising sales, branded content, adtech, or related industries
  • Experience working with agencies, media platforms, streaming ecosystems, creator-led businesses, or advertising technology environments
  • Strong understanding of modern digital advertising and media monetization models

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven ability to build strategic commercial relationships
  • Strong understanding of media buying, digital advertising, and premium content monetization
  • Experience structuring scalable partnership or advertising solutions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and business development capabilities
