Inside Sales Representative - Business Insurance Lines (Remote Sales)

The sales professional in this role is responsible for promoting and selling assigned Pearl Insurance coverage(s) to potential clients over the phone and through email, mail, and fax. Handles servicing clients during their first year of policy coverage with Pearl. Your Impact: Prioritize sales leads from various sources, such as the Monthly Sales Funnel, Daily Activity Report, and leads from websites, database management, etc. Conduct a high volume of customer contact via the phone, email, mail, and fax to promote and sell assigned coverage(s). Utilize marketing campaigns, advertising, and other marketing methods to meet monthly and annual sales goals in a defined territory. Present the quote or estimate to the potential client; close the sale; attempt to gain market intelligence if unable to close the sale. Facilitate the application and underwriting process with the potential client and the internal underwriter including - sending application to potential clients, finalizing application with any applicable forms, following up when additional information is needed to complete underwriting process. Document sales activities in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Build and maintain customer relationships by responding to various questions, needs, and requests. Successful Candidates Will Have: Associate degree in business management, marketing, or a related field. 2+ years of previous sales and/or customer service experience, preferably within the insurance industry. Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to interface effectively at all levels within an organization. Property and Casualty insurance license required (or the ability to obtain). Pay Range: $24.04 - $24.04 Hourly The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for this role.
