About the position The Director, Amazon – U.S. Consumer Beauty role offers direct engagement with Amazon and rare ownership of AVN/JBP negotiation, paired with the high‑velocity challenge of leading beauty on the world’s most dynamic ecommerce platform. As our Director, Amazon – U.S. Consumer Beauty, reporting to the Senior Director, you will help shape the channel’s strategic vision while leading annual commercial cycles, owning the Amazon relationship, and driving day‑to‑day business orchestration. As a senior commercial leader, you will advance the Consumer Beauty Amazon agenda through strong commercial execution, operational rigor, and cross‑functional partnership. This role requires deep Amazon expertise, strong financial and commercial acumen, and the ability to influence effectively across senior and working levels within Coty and Amazon The Director, Amazon – U.S. Consumer Beauty is leading a team of 3 and working closely together with several departments such as Trade, Content, Retail Media, Finance, Demand Planning. A fast‑moving, brand‑first division where storytelling meets data‑driven execution. On Amazon, the team pairs beauty craftsmanship with rigorous performance management across forecasting, availability, and conversion—operating with a collaborative, accountable, and solutions‑oriented culture

Responsibilities

  • Lead annual commercial cycles including operating plan, forecasting, business performance reviews, and delivery of revenue, share, and profit targets while managing promotions and trade investments.
  • Own AVN & JBP leadership, driving narrative development, financial modelling, cross‑functional alignment, and serving as Coty’s lead negotiator with Amazon.
  • Manage executive‑level Amazon relationships, leading QBRs and strategic discussions to unlock growth, innovation, and category opportunities.
  • Translate strategic direction into execution, partnering with Trade, Content, and Retail Media to deliver beauty‑standard PDP content, retail media plans, and channel insights.
  • Drive operational excellence, overseeing WBRs, supply chain health, launch readiness, availability, retail readiness, and flawless execution of NPD and seasonal activations.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years in ecommerce, Amazon retail experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven success leading 1P Amazon business operations, forecasting, and commercial planning.
  • Demonstrated expertise running AVN, JBP, or major customer negotiation cycles.
  • Strong financial acumen with ability to build scenarios, model outcomes, and make investment recommendations.
  • Ability to lead complex cross‑functional initiatives in a matrixed environment.
  • Leadership experience with direct reports or cross‑functional team ownership.
