Job Summary Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Virtual Gaming Support Specialist to join our growing team. As a Virtual Gaming Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to gaming customers. You will assist players in troubleshooting issues, answering inquiries, and ensuring an engaging, seamless experience for users. This is a remote position open to candidates within the USA who are passionate about gaming and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • * Provide real-time support to gamers through chat, email, and phone regarding gameplay issues, technical difficulties, and account inquiries.
  • * Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to game performance, installation, and other related gaming services.
  • * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate issues that require deeper investigation or resolution.
  • * Deliver top-notch customer service by ensuring player satisfaction, addressing inquiries, and maintaining positive relationships with users.
  • * Maintain a thorough understanding of the games supported, as well as the latest updates and patches.
  • * Document and track customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in a CRM system.
  • * Identify and report recurring technical issues to the development team to improve the overall gaming experience.
  • * Assist in the creation of FAQs, knowledge base articles, and guides to empower players with self-service options.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications
  • * High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • * Proven experience in customer support, preferably in the gaming or tech industry.
  • * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • * Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve problems independently and efficiently.
  • * Passionate about gaming and familiar with a wide range of gaming platforms and genres.
  • * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and customer-centric approach.
  • * Comfortable using CRM systems, ticketing software, and other communication tools.
  • Experience
  • * Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, technical support, or a similar role.
  • * Experience in gaming support or as a gamer in the industry is highly preferred.
  • * Familiarity with major gaming consoles, PCs, and mobile gaming platforms.
  • Working Hours
  • * This is a full-time, remote position.
  • * Shift-based scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required to accommodate different time zones.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • * In-depth knowledge of popular gaming platforms such as PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and mobile devices.
  • * Ability to troubleshoot common game-related issues (crashes, connectivity issues, account problems).
  • * Strong attention to detail and the ability to document technical issues clearly.
  • * Ability to multitask effectively and manage multiple inquiries simultaneously.
  • * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • * Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
