Lead Scrum Master, Cloud Infrastructure Projects
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Scrum Master to drive Agile transformation for critical cloud infrastructure projects. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the US. You will play a crucial role in guiding multiple Scrum teams in adopting and optimizing Agile practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. The Lead Scrum Master will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, coach Scrum Masters and team members, and champion Agile principles across the organization. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth delivery of complex, cloud-based solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of Agile frameworks, particularly Scrum and Kanban, and the ability to adapt them to the unique needs of infrastructure development. You will work closely with Product Owners, Development Teams, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication, efficient workflow, and successful product delivery. Responsibilities include coaching and mentoring junior Scrum Masters, facilitating cross-team collaboration, and driving organizational change to enhance Agile maturity. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills, coupled with a strong technical aptitude or a deep understanding of software development lifecycles. A passion for empowering teams and fostering a self-organizing, high-performing environment is essential. This role is critical in accelerating our client's cloud adoption journey. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate and coach multiple Scrum teams in adopting and mastering Agile principles and practices. Serve as a servant-leader and coach for Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Development Teams. Remove impediments and obstacles that hinder team progress and productivity. Promote a collaborative and self-organizing team environment. Guide teams in estimation, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Facilitate effective communication and transparency among teams and stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within and across teams. Mentor and develop other Scrum Masters within the organization. Assist Product Owners with backlog management and refinement. Contribute to the organization's Agile transformation strategy and execution. Ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or similar advanced Agile certification (e.g., CEC, CST). Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, with at least 2 years in a Lead or Senior capacity. Proven experience facilitating multiple Agile teams simultaneously, preferably in a cloud infrastructure or DevOps environment. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), and tools (Jira, Confluence). Excellent coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution, and change management skills. Ability to work independently and lead initiatives in a remote setting. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a strong plus.
