US Bookkeeper (Remote)
This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: United States, Philippines Job Title: US Bookkeeper (Remote) About the Client: Our client is a growing CPA firm providing accounting, tax, and advisory services to small and mid-sized businesses. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented bookkeeper to support our clients and internal team with accurate and timely financial reporting. Overview: The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for multiple clients. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage deadlines, and experience working in a CPA firm or professional accounting environment. Responsibilities:
- Maintain full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients
- Record and reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Maintain general ledgers and supporting schedules
- Perform monthly and year-end reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Communicate with clients to resolve discrepancies
- Support CPAs with workpapers for tax filings and audits
- Maintain organized digital records
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Strong understanding of debits and credits
- Experience with QuickBooks Online
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Prior CPA firm experience
- Experience with multiple entities and industries
- Familiarity with payroll and sales tax filings
