A/R Biller/Collector Newborn Specialists of Tulsa Newborn Specialists of Tulsa is a small neonatology practice providing care in Neonatal Intensive Care Units at three local hospitals. We are seeking an experienced, highly detail‑oriented A/R Biller/Collector to join our billing team. This role is primarily focused on denial resolution, appeals, and insurance and patient A/R follow‑up, as well as payment posting and account review. This position is ideal for an A/R professional who demands absolute accuracy, works methodically, and takes full ownership of claims from first follow‑up through final, correct resolution. Primary Responsibilities

  • Working and resolving claim denials for all payers
  • Preparing and submitting appeals with appropriate supporting documentation
  • Communicating with payers to resolve unpaid, underpaid, or disputed claims
  • Insurance and patient A/R follow‑up and collections
  • Downloading and reviewing insurance correspondence
  • Responding to medical record and documentation requests
  • Monitoring aging reports and prioritizing high‑risk accounts
  • Identifying denial trends and escalating areas of concern
  • Payment posting, including ERAs/EOBs and patient payments
  • Other Billing tasks as assigned

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in insurance A/R follow‑up and collections
  • Denial management and appeals experience (required)
  • Medical billing office experience (required)
  • Experience with payment posting and ERA/EOB reconciliation (required)
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, ICD‑10 codes, and coding guidelines
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, and Excel
  • Experience with Greenway Intergy is a plus

Compensation & Schedule

  • Full‑time, fully remote, with benefits eligibility upon permanent hire following an introductory period.
  • 40 hours per week
  • Work hours between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (schedule set upon hire)
  • Starting pay: $19–$20 per hour, based on relevant A/R and denial/appeals experience
  • Training hours scheduled; independent work schedule offers flexibility
