Billing and Coding Specialist Lead Instructor (CA, Full-time)

Who We’re Looking For We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated full-time Billing and Coding Specialist Lead Instructor to join our team. We are interested in candidates who are looking to work for a company passionate about changing lives and building the essential workforce! Applicants must have open availability during weekdays and be a resident of California. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter area and effective teaching/learning strategies.
  • Assist in student learning outcomes
  • Advance student learning through exemplary instruction by following an established course outline.
  • Maintain appropriate standards of professionalism and conduct.
  • Assist in the development of the medical billing and coding specialist curriculum as needed.
  • Grade class assignments and exams.

Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in a directly related field.
  • 1 year of teaching experience preferred.
  • Must have at least one of the following Medical Billing and Coding license/certifications: CPB (preferred), CPC, CCS, or CMC.
  • Proven track record of developing online training content.
  • Must adhere to weekly class schedules.
  • Ability to mentor students and hold them accountable to program standards.
  • Adept at computers and technology.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Resident of California.
