We are seeking a Mid-Level UX/UI Designer to support the design of a web-based application in an eCommerce-oriented environment. In this role, you will work directly with an international client, translating business requirements into clear, usable, and development-ready designs. This is a staff augmentation position, meaning you will operate independently, collaborating closely with Product Owners and development teams on the client side, without day-to-day support from an internal design team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design user interfaces and experiences for a web application based on business and product requirements.
- Translate business needs and functional requirements into intuitive, user-centered design solutions.
- Create high-fidelity layouts, wireframes, and prototypes in Figma, ensuring they are ready for developer handoff.
- Work closely with Product Owners (POs) and stakeholders to clarify requirements and align on design decisions.
- Ensure consistency, usability, and accessibility across all screens and flows.
- Collaborate asynchronously and synchronously with international teams, maintaining clear documentation and communication.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback, technical constraints, and evolving requirements.
- Contribute to or follow existing design systems and UI standards when applicable.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a UX/UI or Digital Designer in web applications.
- Strong proficiency in Figma, including component creation, auto layout, and developer handoff practices.
- Experience designing interfaces that are feasible and ready for development.
- Ability to work from business-driven requirements rather than product discovery processes.
- Experience collaborating directly with Product Owners and developers.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently in a client-facing role.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken) – mandatory for daily interaction with international stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Experience in eCommerce platforms or digital commerce solutions.
- Familiarity with design systems and scalable component libraries.
- Knowledge of usability and accessibility best practices (e.g., WCAG).
- Experience working in staff augmentation or consulting models.
- Understanding of front-end development constraints (HTML, CSS, responsive design).
