Earnings Potential

As an experienced bookkeeping software customer support specialist, you'll have the opportunity to earn up to $20.40 per hour. Plus, you'll be guaranteed a minimum of 45 minutes for each hour if you're available for the full 60 minutes.

Schedule

We offer flexible schedule opportunities, allowing you to create your own schedule and work at times that suit you best. Our available hours are between 8 am and 8 pm CST, Monday to Friday.

Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Comparable Accounting Software: You'll be working with clients who use QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software, so it's essential that you're familiar with its features and functions.
  • Bookkeeping/Accounting Expertise: You'll need to have a solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, journal entries, and reconciliation.
  • Customer Service Experience: You'll be working with clients who may be frustrated or confused, so it's crucial that you have excellent customer service skills and can deliver high-quality support over the phone.
  • Comfort with Cross-Selling: You'll have the opportunity to cross-sell relevant products to clients, so you'll need to be comfortable with this aspect of the role.
  • Strong Ownership of Customer Issues: You'll need to be able to take control of customer issues and provide confident resolution.
  • Tech Savvy: You'll be working with a range of technology, including computers, software, and communication tools, so you'll need to be comfortable with technology and have strong computer skills.
  • Friendly Tone and Professional Demeanor: You'll be representing arenaflex and our clients, so it's essential that you have a friendly tone and professional demeanor.

Work Environment Requirements

To ensure you can provide the best possible support to our clients, you'll need:

  • Quiet, Uninterrupted Space: You'll need a quiet, uninterrupted space to work, free from distractions and interruptions.
  • Organized Desk Area: You'll need to have an organized desk area, with all necessary equipment and resources within easy reach.

Technology Requirements

To work with us, you'll need:

  • Personal Computer: You'll need a personal computer (no tablet) with a wired internet connection.
  • Broadband Internet Connection: You'll need a broadband internet connection with a minimum download speed of 10 Mbps.
  • Wired Internet Connection: You'll need a wired internet connection (no wi-fi or mobile internet).
  • Windows 10 or Windows 11 Operating System: You'll need a Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system.
  • Valid Antivirus Software: You'll need to have valid antivirus software installed, running, and up to date.
  • Wired USB Headset with Microphone: You'll need a wired USB headset with microphone to communicate with clients.
  • Mac Users: If you're a Mac user, you'll need to have an Intel-based machine with Windows 11 installed via Apple's Boot Camp utility.

Important Information

  • Location: You must live and work from the United States, except California, New York, Pennsylvania, or Washington.
  • Criminal Background Check: You'll need to successfully pass a criminal background check.
  • Contractual Relationship: The relationship between you and arenaflex is a contractual relationship. You'll remain an independent contractor for the duration of this program assignment.
