Job Summary

As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a critical role in processing various medical documents, extracting data, and entering it into our electronic database using Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word. You'll work independently and collaboratively with other team members to ensure that questions are addressed, documented, and cases are returned in a timely fashion. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a metrics-driven environment will be essential in delivering outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities

* Process various medical documents, including Independent Medical Reviews

  • Extract data from documents and enter it into the electronic database using Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word
  • Work independently and collaboratively with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Use critical thinking skills to determine next steps and reach out to clients via phone to obtain missing information
  • Provide exceptional customer service and client coordination over the phone
  • Meet productivity and quality standards in a metrics-driven environment

Requirements

* High School Diploma or equivalent

  • At least 1 year of remote work experience
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection
  • Own computer or laptop (no Chromebooks)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a metrics-driven environment
  • Previous experience in healthcare, insurance, or claims is preferred

Schedule

* Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM EST

  • 100% remote work arrangement

Equipment Requirements

* Reliable high-speed internet connection

  • Own computer or laptop (no Chromebooks)
  • Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word software
