Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Driver Onboarding Specialist/Data Entry Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our onboarding process, you'll be responsible for communicating with our delivery professionals, reviewing applications and documents, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience. Responsibilities
As a Driver Onboarding Specialist/Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for:
- Reviewing applications and documents for accuracy and eligibility
- Conducting virtual vehicle safety inspections with qualified driver-applicants (training provided)
- Communicating with delivery professionals via text, chat, and email about the status of their applications
- Ordering driver applicants' pre-employment background checks using company software
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of driver applications and onboarding status
- Collaborating with our team to ensure a smooth onboarding process
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 2+ years of experience in a business environment, preferably in data entry, human resource (HR), receptionist, administrative assistant, or customer service
- Associate's degree or above (preferred, but not required)
- 1-2 years of experience in recruiting/onboarding gig app workers or working in data entry, HR, or customer service (preferred, not required)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
- Comfortable with smartphone applications and web-based applications
- Ability to work full-time, including some weekends
- Access to a quiet work environment, a smartphone, and a computer with reliable internet access
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with data entry software and systems
- Knowledge of HR principles and practices
- Familiarity with gig economy platforms and onboarding processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
