Claims Care Representative

Remote role Full-time Open position

Preferred Mutual Insurance Company is focused on providing exceptional customer service and insurance solutions. The Claims Care Representative I will process transactions and deliver services for high-touch and high-volume interactions within claims, supporting each unit in the department.

Responsibilities

  • Develop proficiency in routine claims support functions, including First Notice of Loss (FNOL) intake, Safelite glass claim coordination, rental management, and handling inbound claims calls, with the ability to work independently within 3–6 months
  • Follow established SOP's and provide continuous improvement feedback to SOP's
  • Meet individual goals within defined KPI's and SLA's
  • Escalate issues and non-routine transactions to supervisor as appropriate

Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required
  • A positive, customer-first attitude

  • Team focus, able to work collaboratively as a member of a team
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Able to communicate in English clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Maintain a consistent quality and quantity of work at established standards
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to learn various technology platforms and navigate them simultaneously
  • Related work experience preferred
  • Experience with various technology platforms utilized by Preferred Mutual including but not limited to Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.) desired
