Associate Attorney

The role involves managing caseloads, participating in various steps of the litigation process, and requires a JD from an accredited law school.
Responsibilities
- Experience will determine caseload and day-to-day workload
- Less experienced attorneys will be mentored while handling entry level tasks and case details
- More experienced attorneys will manage their own case load based on their established skill sets
- Litigation associates should expect to be a part of many steps in the litigation process, such as reviewing, preparing, and approving pleadings, motions, participating in depositions and expert depositions
- Appearance for oral arguments, pre-trial conferences, and trials will be necessary
Skills
- Licensed attorney in the state of Michigan
- Experience in Worker's Compensation or Insurance Defense
- JD from an accredited law school
- 1-5 years of litigation experience
- Have a Michigan P-number in good standing
